Then he hung blankets across the room like a wall.

“Heidi, this will be your very own private building area,” Dad said, pointing to the left. “And, Henry, this will be your side. No peeking at each other’s cars. They should be a secret. Agreed?”

Everybody nodded. Then both teams got to work.

First Henry and Dad built the car frames and attached the wheels to the axles. They also put together the brakes and the steering wheel.

Dad showed Henry how to use a power drill. They used it to attach the seat.
